Can you upgrade to the pro version one through the credit system?

the pro version is mearly a hardware upgrade. You would need to contact sales directly so that you can return your old hardware so they can transfer your licenses to the new hardware.

With the new pricing of EFILive, you can jump on the v1 interface with a wideband for only $729 and later upgrade to the V2 to tune all your GTO. This will give you the best of both worlds. Check out the Demo of EFILive to see exactly how easy it is to use as well as navigate. All tables are easy to read and understand and in fully adjustable depending on your needs.

WhenI bought HPTuners and was for the most part in the dark on the tuning scene. I had hell for about two months but once you figure it out, it is WELL worth the money spent for full tuning capabilities. I have a V6 so HPTuners is really the only option I had, but you have a lot more than me with the LS1. I highly recommend buying comprehensive software. It may take you a little longer to learn, but like I said, its well worth the money spent and I wouldn't have gone any other direction.

In spite of the obvious bias of certain moderators on this board...Either package will work for you as a beginner. I have and have used both packages. EFI Live will have LS2 tuning in a couple of weeks. I absolutely would not make my purchase decision on the availability of the LS2 stuff just yet. IMHO for a beginner either package will suit you just fine. I do think that for advanced users EFI Live is by far the more powerful solution and does have the advantage of working well for beginners as well as people who are doing this all day long for a living.

It would really help if HPT would release a demo so the user could make a decision based on actually being able to see and navigate around both packages. It is like test driving a car before you buy it. I don't like to buy something if I can't see how it works or fiddle with it myself.

Keith, any updates on when you guys might offer up one? The tutorials you offer are nice, but don't fully allow the customer to see what all is available.
