hpp3 code 6 help

during the tune the battery died and now it will not continue the tune. keep getting code 6, if this reappears call hypertech. has anyone ran into this? any help? thanks

We ran into the same problem with the battery going dead, Your best bet is to throw it away, it aint worth the cost of sending it back to hypertech to be fixed, i think they wanted $150 to fix ours, so we just tossed it instead.

did you have to do anything to the car? because now mine wont start.

I called hypertech today and they it basically scrambled the memory in the car and the programmer. they have to have me to send them the programmer and the ecm from the car to try and fix it after i have it reflashed along with proof of purchase which i cont find after 3 years. do I have any other options?I really dont want to use hypertech any longer.
help please

Have you tried calling your dealer yet? Hopefully you can remove the PCM from the car (vs. having it towed in) and have them reflash it to a stock tune.

The flash chip most likely need to be removed from PCM and recovered on a chip programmer.

Not much fun, hope you have a GOOD soldering station, since these 44 pin flash chips are not fun to solder.
