Default Abs

ABS has nothing to do with OBD2 . Ilive in NY, we have to advise the customer the ABS light is on but it is not nec. to be operative to pass an inspection for OBD2. In your state it may be nec. for a safety inspection but maybe someone from there will chime in.

Correct, the abs module is not part of obd2. You can a. live with the light b. take the instrument cluster out and put a piece of black tape over it or c. take the cluster apart and remove the bulb. I am working on d. right now which is diving in the manuals and seeing if there is a way to fool the cluster without having to remove the bulb.
