427 I had a question about tuning that I thought maybe someone here could help me with.I just put a 427 in my F-body and ran it last week and had a small issue.I sent my computer in for a mailorder tune just to get it up and running for a dyno tune later.I fired it up and it will not run at all on cold startups without giving it a little throttle. Seems like it is very very rich. I also get bank one and bank 2 running rich code on my scan tool. Not sure the code? After it warms up it runs and idles fine at about 950 RPMS and no codes. I took out my plugs and they are very black.The goofy thing about it is that even when its been warm and running for a while, if I shut it off and try to start it back up within a couple minutes, the same thing happens all over again. It's starts like it is cold starting again and loading up.Anybody have any ideas? I know I'll need a dyno tune but I'd like some input on this.Oh ya, my cam is a 234/244 on a 114 LSA. I know, I know......too small right! Thanks ahead of time.Traver
when cold it goes open loop. once it warms up fuel trims try to take over, they are probably maxxed too. just get a dyno tune done or find someone to go out with you and log your VE and MAF tables and dial them in
