I had a question about tuning that I thought maybe someone here could help me with.I just put a 427 in my F-body and ran it last week and had a small issue.I sent my computer in for a mailorder tune just to get it up and running for a dyno tune later.I fired it up and it will not run at all on cold startups without giving it a little throttle. Seems like it is very very rich. I also get bank one and bank 2 running rich code on my scan tool. Not sure the code? After it warms up it runs and idles fine at about 950 RPMS and no codes. I took out my plugs and they are very black.The goofy thing about it is that even when its been warm and running for a while, if I shut it off and try to start it back up within a couple minutes, the same thing happens all over again. It's starts like it is cold starting again and loading up.Anybody have any ideas? I know I'll need a dyno tune but I'd like some input on this.Oh ya, my cam is a 234/244 on a 114 LSA. I know, I know......too small right! Thanks ahead of time.Traver

it's probably way off, and in open loop is pig rich, once it goes closed loop, it gets better.

when cold it goes open loop. once it warms up fuel trims try to take over, they are probably maxxed too. just get a dyno tune done or find someone to go out with you and log your VE and MAF tables and dial them in

You just need to find someone to tune it local.You can;t tune a stroker right through mail order.Maybe close but not perfect.
