how much drive time is normally needed?

at the bare minumum 2 complete cool down and warm up cycles. When I say cool down, I mean cooled down to where the engine temp is cooler than the outside air.

none. if you turn off all the MIL status and the DTC status then it takes no time for the car to reset.

such as the AIR pump, and other readiness tests right? yeh, just turn all that you want off in the MIL status and the DTC and you should be good to go. you can check by efi live, doing shift+f5 i think does the readniness tests
