-unplug TPS sensor
-turn key on (don't start car) for 30 seconds
-turn key off
-plug sensor back in

All that is going to do is set a few TPS codes. If you want to "reset" the TPS, you need a multimeter and some hand tools.

There's resetting the learned baseline for 0%,
and there's properly setting the TPS voltage
relation to closed throttle. Before you try and
adjust the PCM's attitude make sure closed is
more than, but close to 0.5V output. 0.60
would probably be good. Are you trying to make
it like a blade that's jacked open, or something?

If you elongate the TPS holes circumferentially
you can get yourself some adjustment range
and produce the "right" voltage wherever the
blade stop may be.

However if you have taken up too much travel
then WOT reading may be compromised. You
can change the WOT TPS% threshold though,
if this happens.
