Help! Car will not start until i reset the pcm manually
So i didn't drive it until i got the guages back.
I get the guages back, install them etc, jump start my car, after the volts reached about 13.3-13.5 i tried to turn over the car, well it would crank over but wouldnt actually start up. I tried this a few more times, still nothing, so i let it sit for a bit, then finally she started up, i disconnected the jumper cables, got in the car, because i was going to go for a short drive to charge the system back up. Just as i touch the gas pedal the car shuts off. So i go to turn it back on, again she will crank over but wont actually turn on.
So after trying for a few times i figuired well ****, shes low on gas ill go fill up the 2 gallon tank and pour some gas in, so i did, she actually turned on, i drove into town, went to a friends house for a few hours, got back in the car and again she gave me problems starting up, so i tried literally 3-4 times cranking over and finally got her going.
Well ever since that night, the car literally takes me 6-10 tries, then i have to get out with the key in the on position and remove both PCM fuses, and reset the pcm, get back in the car and USUALLY this fixes the problem. Now my main concern is when i turn the key onto the ON position, not everytime my fuel pump turns on, only seldomly, I have a walbro 255 and i have herd some problems with these pumps, mine is about 4 months old. I am getting fuel to the rails, i loosend up one of the AN fittings for the nitrous line and some fuel leaked out.
Today on my way home from work, took me forever to get her started, the RPM was staying at about 1800-2000 my idle speed is right around 800-900. This has never happened before. After i reset the pcm when i got home, i was in the garage, and again took me another good few tries to get her going again.
What can be causing this? Stock coil packs, Taylor Thundervolt 10.4mm wires w/NGK TR6 plugs, the PCM was recently re-tuned by TSP, but she ran fine up until i changed out the guages. No SES light.
Help is muchly appreciated!
