mega with wideband
mega with wideband this isn't going on car, but a small 4 stroke engine. How do i run a wideband with mega.. do i just ned to 02 sensor to hook right into mega... or do i need a wideband controler inbetween?
This whole megasquirt is kinda new to me... we are using it to control a brand new yamaha phazer snowmobile. The toughest callenge yet is to get the motor to run on just mega.. since we have to come up with the timing and fueling all from scratch. Yamaha is't very nice on giving us any info and we have no idea how to read it off the stock yamaha ecu.
speaking of...if we jsut wanted to run mega for fuel for starters any ideas on how we would let the yamaha ecu run timing and all other functions and jsut let mega take over fuel... From what it looks like the phazer has an intake pressure sensor for each cylinder, fuel injector, and a general manifold temp sensor... I'm not quite sure what we can steal from the ecu since it may use those sensors for other apps that jsut fueling
