SD Tune From Scratch
SD Tune From Scratch I'm putting an LS1 in a 3rd gen RX7 and have a few questions about SD tunes. The driveline for the car is out of a 98, but I'll be using a 99 harness and flashing an 02 OS to the PCM (found a used copy of HPTuners for 02's cheap). The car won't be running EGR, rear O2's, a charcoal cannister or other smog stuff which will be be turned off via HPTuners. The car will have a stock long block and will just have normal bolt-ons such as LT headers, no cats, an underdrive pulley, etc until I get it up and running and work any bugs out. I'll be buidling a 4" cold air intake system and don't plan to ever run a MAF on the car so there will be no provision to mount a MAF. I've read through quite a bit of the SD tuning writeups, but they seem to all need a MAF sometime in the tuning process. I was just curious if anyone has any suggestions or a link to an SD writeup that could point me in the right direction. Any help will certainly be appreciated.
