catalytic converters I need new catalytic converters in order to pass smog. Can I just go to a muffler shop and have them cut and weld a couple of magnaflows? Do I need to order ones specifically for my 96 ws6? Do I need the y pipe as well? The pontiac dealership wants to charge me a price that is almost laughable, so I would like to know my options. Please help me.

O2 sims and an inspection shop not willing to look under the car ;o) !!
California laws are so freaking gay...I hope Texas doesn't become that crappy! Screw the environment and global warming...both are a liberal agenda!
Either find a crooked inspection shop, or get some cats that don't throw codes...$$$.

What are all of your mods? You might want to reduce the timing (by 2-3 degrees) in those cells affecting your tests.
