Need a good mail order tune...
Need a good mail order tune... First of all, i dont know the slightest thing about tuning so hptuners, or ls1 edit or anything else like that is pretty much out unless its extremely easy to do. So basically im installing LT headers, ls6 intake manifold, and ORY soon and i dont want to use o2 sims because alot of times they dont work and i will also still be throwing codes for EGR and AIR (im running race headers). Also i know sometimes that when lt's are installed and cats are deleted the car will run rich sometimes and id like the keep as much mpg that i can. So basically i want a kind of small tune for the headers, air, egr, and rear o2's. thanks for the help guys.
Personally I would say go with a full on tuning suite now while your in the fledgling stages of modding...you know once the mod bug hits the next thing will be gears, cam, etc. and you'll have to keep sending out for mail tunes for every little thing. Everything you need to know about compensating for LT's & the LS6 are in the stickies at the top so its just a matter of applying them through software like hptuners.

and as far as a tuning suite, i browsed the stickys up top and it looks more like a hassle to me. A/F ratio and all the other stuff mentioned looks like chinese to me because im still learning. The only other tuning i will be doing is in the summer when i get my cam and stall in which case i want a professional dyno tune for the best drivability. i geuss you could call me lazy but sometimes its better to pay the money that have to deal with a hassle.
