Default elevation change and tuning

If i get my 98 SS dino tuned for my current elevation (6000ft), and then move to sea level, will i have to re-tune my car? Or can i buy another PROM with everything programmed the same except richer and change it out when I go to sea level. Anyone have a good solution? or additional info?

If you were in the opposite situation ( sea level going to altitude) you would be in much better shape. The problem is that going from high altitude to low, your tuner can't recreate the barometric pressure, so he will have to guess at the rest of your tune. Your best bet is to get your own tuning software.

I went from 5350 ft down to 3000ft with a DA of 7000ft to 4000ft respectively.

I had to retune the car for it.

Probably not anything useful. However, keep an eye on the for sale section. You never know when someone changes their setup and needs to sell old stuff.
