Default What does DTC P1156 mean?

I just started throwing this code and after searching, this is all I came up with: "DTC P1156 HO2S Rich Mean Bank 2 Sensor 1"
I know about the switching codes and heating codes concerning the O2's, but dont know exactly what this one means other than it has to do with my front, passenger side O2. Please help!
Thanks

Mean=Average..........It means you're running rich on the passenger side in the computers eyes since the voltage output of the O2 sensor is averaging on the high side. I think this code is usually accompanied by others. You can check to see if it's the sensor by swapping the front O2's from side to side. If the code follows the sensor, then it needs to be replaced. If the code stays on the passenger side, then you may have bigger issues.

P1156 is not enabled in 02 Fbody calibrations. Go somewhere else and get the code read again or be more specific about what kind of vehicle is setting that code if it's not the one in your sig.

Thanks, I have a feeling its the sensor because earlier today @ cruise, my a/f gauge (which is tied into that O2 sensor) showed that it was running in open loop. Then, after starting the car later, it was in closed loop like it was suppossed to be. I've got 80K mi. on the O2's, so I could probably use a new set anyways.

Ok, good to know, I'll go somewhere else in the morning and see what they say.

That's why I questioned it, and www.obdii.com lists it only under engine K for the F-body. What part of Jax are you in? If you're close to Blanding/295 I can read it for you.

Really? That would be awesome! Actually I'm right up the street, I live in the Blanding/Kingsley area.
