those code may require some effort to fix.
First check the fuse box by the battery-there is a fuse 15A I beleive for O2 heaters/sensors. Grounds are the next area to check(1.back of the driverside cyl. head, 2.driver side of motor below exhaust and 3.black plug on driver side frame near rad..
this is a list of causes po-155 & po 135

looks like you fixed some codes

Scratch all that... For Christmas, I gave my car an oil change. In return, my car gave me a SES from P0135, P0155, and P0140. No worries, I'm de-headering my car. It's not like they yield that much power anyway.

I'm getting the same codes over and over again. I'll replace my O2s and if the problem reappears, I'll modify my old ones like outlined above and report the results.

My sons 99 Camaro was throwing code P0153 and others that were all bank 2 sensor 1 related after FLP header intstall. I switched the O2 sensor with one I had laying around from my 02 Camaro today and we will see how it goes. I did ever so slightly pry open the slots on the tip. We will see if it does any good. I wonder if a worn O2 may matter in this problem. I doubt my sons O2s have ever been changed and he is at 105K miles. Stock O2s on my 01 work fine with the Kooks headers and ORY but my cars O2s only have about 30K on them.

Well it threw codes again. I might have to agree with ShevrolayZ28 that opening the O2 up would actually negatively affect the internal heaters, meaning they would take even longer to heat up throwing the code even sooner. I guess my next step is Bosch 13111s.

This thread is pretty old so I was wondering if anyone had some follow up results about their modifications to the o2 sensors. The headers sure do create a ton of problems.

ive heard biased results. would 13111's fix or make the problem worse when trying to fix p1133?

I dont think the Bosch ones are gonna fix them since they don't work all the time. I think brand new AC delco ones might help. Im putting on headers this month and i have some new Denso's i bought, but this problem doesn't seem to be a majority thing when getting headers installed.

Any updates? I have switched back and forth btwn Bosch/ AC Delcos/Denso brand and still getting codes for O2. My Denso/AC Delco is pretty brand new and I'm still getting codes so I'll be looking for cracks on my collector, DS header since it's the only one throwing code.

Funny thing I've noticed is from all other post that DS header seems to be the common problem to get this O2 sensor code.

Okay it's not the longtube header, its free of leaks or crack of anything on my collector. Just got a PM from our sponsor so hopefully it will fix it. Cross your fingers.

I'm glad I'm not the one who revived this...but now that it has been done...**** THESE 02 SENSOR CODES. I'm throwing P0135 right now, and have thrown P0155 and 53 I believe. What the hell can be done, is there any solution to getting rid of these? No drivability problems, but I'm clearing them every other day!

I guess if it were my car that was throwing those codes and ran fine I would probably just turn off the codes. I know it's not the correct thing to do but if ya have new sensors and it's running fine then I would do it. I guess then if later you started to notice it wasn't running right then just turn the codes back on so you can see if there really is a problem.. But then again this will only help people that have the tuning software.

yea see thats obviously what everyone would do but the thing is...last time I had slow response codes the car ran just a little bit different. So I ended up buying new o2s. Now its back again.

Hello guys , hru all today or yestermorrow ? I have searched the internet high and low for O2 sensor info and as far as heat loss , the heated sensors are heated mainly so the computer will see a usable signal quicker after cold starts and I suppose possibly in really cold weather . So , once warmed up to a certain point and warmer , heat loss should'nt be an issue . But , I have read that too much heat can and probably will lead to pre-mature death of the modified O2 sensors , I guess it's a balancing act .
