Trans Tuning????
Trans Tuning???? I am in the works up upgrading my stock 4l60e and 3400 converter to a stage 4 4l60e vac. mod. trans with a 4000 converter.
is there anything right off the bat that i am going to need to change i.e. line pressures, torque management, etc???

Vacuum modulated means you can't tune line
pressures anymore.
You will need to bring your upshift MPH in a fair
bit, lower the MPH by maybe 4, 6, 8 MPH for the
1-2, 2-3, 3-4 as a start. Have to see how the
higher slip and higher rate of run-up in RPM plays
against the rev limiter and the vac mod trans'
shift cycle times (which I'd expect to be different
but who can say?).
Being as it's a bad-*** trans you might just kill
