I had my lovely little SES light come on the other day and went to autozone and got the code pulled. The code was 1336 missfire/ignition system. He said it would delete the code once he was done but the second I cranked it up it was still on. Anyway, is there anything that generally causes this code to show up? I had LTs put in a few months ago and got rid of my AIR/EGR stuff so I had a light then and tuned and has been fine since. It runs/starts perfectly fine, I wouldn't know anything was wrong by driving it. Any ideas???

I am assuming you mean a P1336 correct? If so that means that the computer has lost its crank position calibration. You need to perform a "crankshaft variation relearn" and see if that doesn't turn the light off permanantly.

 

I have no scan/software so I have no clue how to "fix" this problem. Shallowbay, good info but I dont know how to fix my problem still lol. It says itll cut the light off after 4 start ups without a problem. Mine has been on a week straight but the car is acting perfectly fine. I think I would know if it was misfiring and acting up. How do I fix this POS???
