I bought this hypertech tuner fro my 1998 camaro Z28 of ebay. Well I start to to tune the car but right in the middle of doing that the battery dies on the car. Now the car won't start and I called the people at hypertech and they said i need to flash the Pcm again. does anybody now of away I can get around not have to have to do that. and also what you think I'm gonna be looking at to get the pcm reflashed.

Something to try, not sure if it'll work. Disconnect the battery, charge it - then try to resume the tuning. At what point did it fail? If the stock tune was already stored you can also try to reinstall it. Worked for a guy with a superchips handheld I talked with, not sure on HPP3. HPP3 takes a long time to program, battery voltage is always critical.

When I was using my Hypertech, I fell asleep waiting for it. Wifey came out about 2 hrs afterwards and found me slumped over in my car.
Oh.. BTW... My HPtuner died in the middle of a load. I did exactly what they said to do when it fails... start over with the last good tune. It worked but I'll admit, my heart skipped a couple of beats.

Sounds like your computer is fried, good luck though.

I would take Wait4me up on his offer and make sure to to ditch the Hypertech.
