When you say SD, is that as in enhanced OS, get your
high octane table back or SD as in stock OS, just push
a MAF fault and use the LO table and secondary VE
table?

The IAT table shown should only account for a couple
of degrees retard with any kind of normal, NA air temps.

No, it's a 1999 OS in SD mode, I made this log one afternoon after tuning my VE table.

Would flashing the IAT advance table back to stock help @ all. I know for a fact it was done by Thunder when they installed the cam. Do you think this was done out of necessity to accomodate the cam (224/563 112) or just done for an extra margin of safety?

well if your running your stock OS in SD mode you'll drop to the low octane table automatcially which in itself might account for a big portion of the low timing #'s

I thought that's why when tuning in SD I had to copy the HO table and paste it in place of the LO table? That's how the tune was when I did this log anyway.

Sorry, I should have done that. I thought yet again that maybe I read the directions wrong and maybe I wasnt supposed to do that but what you're saying is that its ok that I did that I just didnt tell anyone that I did it. Right?

why not just post your current hpt file, then you can just refer us to that instead of questioning the #'s in 450+ tables

OK here's the tune that was on the car when I made the log I posted. The only things that I've changed since the log I attached earlier is, reset the MAF fail to 14000hz so I could start tuning the MAF and I adjusted the MAF table a little as a result.

look at your low octane table man & then see where your hitting at wot

your table is commanding 18-19*...thats why your GETTING 18-19

apparently you didnt copy over your high to your low because from your history log it says you havent made changes to your low octane since December 3rd.

I would say if you have 1 credit left on your hardware just upgrade to the 1 bar SD custom OS...you'll get RTT out of the deal & full use of both the high/low octane tables so you won't have to worry about it.
