timing on a 408

Default timing on a 408

just got my 408 in and running. it has a 248/254 622/612 camshaft,42 lbs injectors,fast 90/90nw and stage 3 6.0 L heads.Can yall help me with timing at idle. how much timing should i run to help idle? It will idle but not real well. Any help would be appreciated! I have tuned for the injectors.

28-36 is common idle timing.

I ussually do 24-28 degree's with the idle set at 900-950rpm.

will this timing work with race fuel 104

Yes,we run C16 at the track. I'm guessing you are 12-1 comp. to use 104?

I'm at 29 with a commanded idle rpm of 950. It's pretty smooth.
