so i will have to upgrade to MPIV to use autotune? and will it need a WB to fully take advantage of the capabilities?

just curious how do you autotune a PE table? Unless of course, your connected to a load bearing dyno, and can do steady state testing of what airfuel ratio is optimal for torque output.

As stated earlier in this thread "Also RTT is just a software upgrade meaning even serial users can take advantage of it "

Basically we are the the only ones that even offer a 2 bar custom OS for them, but with the extended VE table & the other tables we add it doesnt leave us enough room in the excess ram to allow enough functionality of RTT unfortunatly
Ahhh, so if the extra tables could be removed...

doesnt mean much...another problem that automatically arrises is how the pcm is segmented doesnt lend itself to our form of RTT...not saying its impossible, but more trouble then its worth considering we literally give RTT away free with our Custom Operating systems.

Will the auto ve work similar to EFiLive auto ve? I have only used HPT a few times mostly on V6 cars.

the Auto VE your thinking of is just the histogram copy & paste feature which hptuners has had since inception basically, EFILive just coined the term with a fancy name. What we are referring to is our Real time tuning solution adjusting your VE, spark, maf, pe tables by themselves AS YOU DRIVE without you punching a button

That's all fine and dandy, but will it feed me as I drive? THAT would be a true innovation. Then I could be the lazy, fat glutton that I've always known I could be.

LOL, you guys are great.

True Auto-Tune should be great for us all.

In the mean time, don't forget that you guys can copy the histogram and paste special direct into your RTT window.. RIGHT NOW!!!

Just do it when your pulled over, not while driving, LOL!!!

He needs a solution that has a "auto cook/feed" button for his burritos and auto tune for his car. What it all boils down to is he is becoming a lazy bastard!

Do I need a wideband option to use RTT ? I know it would be ideal, but it's not required is it ?

So, RTT is in a way "autotune", with an exception that I actualy need to copy the "corrected" values into new table and write the calibration, whereas "autotune" does it automaticaly, correct ?

ideal for tuning fueling yes, needed though...no not needed, RTT is just a simple custom operating system application which takes about 5 minutes start to finish to apply.

As far as "autotune" goes it will basically apply the changes for you while your driving, making the corrections as you go rather then having to use the copy-paste feature

That is awesome !

Would "autotune" work with older serial cable systems ? (I know you said RTT does)
