Predator performance??
Predator performance?? I recently bought a 99 A4 Z28 to bracket race. It has 3.23's in the rear. I am going to install a lid, fast toys ram air, and a 160 thermostat. I was considering purchasing a predator to turn the fans on sooner, that way I will not have to monitor the temps at the track to keep them consistent. How much performance could I expect to gain from a predator tune, removal of torque mangement, and also improving the shift time and firmness?
Anyone care to speculate on what it will run?
BTW I am really not intersted in getting a full tuning program as the car will stay in this form for a long while.

On a good day, 13.40's. Maybe better with drag radials.
It's a canned tune. I never noticed any SOTP improvements with the one I had. But, for the shift, fan and gear ratio tuning as well as the real-time scanner, they're not bad. When I had mine, the gear ratio part didn't work. You had to fudge the tire numbers to bring the speedo in line. Hopefully, they have included some new features and fixed that speedo issue as it's been almost 2 years since I had mine.

You really should consider a real tuner. I went the same way at first with the Predator and in no time was yearning for more functionality that only a tuning software can deliver. The cost is similar as well.
