best tune for a stock ls1 whats the best tuner for a stock ls1? hp? diablo?
im really looking for the fan to come on sooner,harder shifts,and any other small gains i could get with just a stocker. at the moment im running constant 13.4s @106. also what to expect if any?

the problem is hptuners & predator are completely different...hptuners is a professional grade tuning suite scanner & editor package that can be used to tune up to 4 vehicles with your initial purchase whereas predator is a handheld with a limited amount of scanning ability and is single vehicle locked, but comes with a canned tune.
I would say if your comfortable with a little learning curve tune yourself if not a handheld or a professional tune might be the way to go...just remember that you most likely wont be able to use that predator on your next car whereas hptuners can be used on hundreds of model year vehicles car after car

again, its up to how comfortable you feel going with one or the other...putting together a simple tune with fan turn on's, shift points, tranny pressure, etc. are very easy and for a starting price of only $499 your not spending a ton more and again you'd have enough credits to license up to 4 separate vehicles at the price compared to 1 with predator basically.
