Default Pulling timing with HPtuners

I'm spraying a 150 wet shot on the Z06 and wanted to pull a few degrees timing to be safe. I have heard that 2 degrees for every 50 hp is safe.

Please bare with my newb questions, but where do I pull the timing from.

I am in engine>spark control>spark retard....

Someone please give me a quick hand..I'm going to the track tomorow and wantd to be on the safe side.

Thanks,

Ivan

engine-spark control-spark advance. High/Low octane...in the cells that you hit while on spray.

Ok, so in for both hi and lo octane tables, I just change the timing on the table from 3200-6800 if I'm spraying from 3000-6800K??

On every g/cyl line or from say .08 to what?? On the first three lines from 2000-7600 it reads 40 all the way across. From .20 on, the numbers go down.

Again, forgive my ignorance, but I'm on my 2nd day with HPT, and have read all the stickies and faqs I couls find.

Thanks again

My advice...so some scans first & try and decipher some of that info...you'll see there are already preconfigured spark histograms for both spark & Knock retard based on your high/low octane tables...from there you can determine what cells you'd hit at WOT NA by seeing where the data extends to...from there I would pull timing in those cells & any cells higher then those. I wouldnt touch the low g/cyl cells since you wont be hitting them while your on nitrous

wouldnt the N20 make the the grams/cyl increase, witch would be diffrent from the cells while N/A ?
Just wondering.

If he sprays a wet shot, the computer has no way of knowing it. The only way it would affect his gram/cyl reading is with a DRY shot.

A dry shot goes through the maf, so the extra oxygen is read on the computer. A wet shot bypasses all of the sensors, so the computer is unaware.
