as long as your tuner doesnt use one of our custom operating systems or locks your computer you should be fine tuning with efilive.

if he uses ANY of our custom operating systems YOU will not be able to edit them via efilive...we use completely different tables/OS's then efilive does.

Your tuner would need to do a 1 bar tune witht he stock OS for you to be able to modify anything.

Why don't you have your tuner do your tune with your efilive, then you can still tune it after he gets done? If he is worth his salt, then he will be able to tune with any software, as the fundamentals are the same, it's just a different interface.

thing is with a 2 bar HP Tuners custom Operating system he could use our Real Time Tuning which is a huge time saver...not to mention efilive is completely different to navigate through as well as make maps with...time wise I could see it not being worth it for the person tuning his car to use efilive.

Read the above post. Lots of tuners use both interfaces. Even if he is used to exclusively using HP Tuners, it shouldn't be a huge jump to use EFI Live.
