does anyone with predator or any transmission tuning have a clue if it can cause a surging/jerking problem on my automatic transmission. its a new built transmission, fuddle 3400, and using the predator to change things like shift firmness (full), pressure (increased a bit), and TM (off) can these or any other parameters cause my trans to jerk (indecisive shift) from 1st to 2nd

No, I do not think it is the Predator, but rathe rthe need for a proper custom tune to dial in that converter. Find a dealer in your area that has CMR tuning software and they will be able to do a custom tune that you can load to the car through your Predator. This will allow you the ability to further modify that tune through the Predator.
