Efi Live Guys In Here

Hi Guys Does Efi Live Work For Tuning A 96 Lt1 Obd11 Car? Or Is It Only For Ls Style Engines .thanks.

It will only tune 98 and newer vehicles

They are planing on supporting scan ONLY for those cars in the future.

There is an OBDI serial port on the V2 unit and if you look in the forum there is mention that support "might" be added. No definates, but the hardware has the support. For the LT1's
They are doing the volume markets and I believe its all cost/benefit. (ie) Support what sells best first, then mop up afterwards. Vortec support was recently added etc.

The OBDI port on the V2 was intended to allow it to be a merger of existing (current and legacy) EFILive hardware/software. No immediate plan for tuning of LT1 that I know of, but scanning will be available through the FlashScan V2 interface and the V8 software due later this year.

ALright so than what major brand or company can a regular "joe" buy for to tune his LT1, or what do all the major shops use to tune lt1s that come in there doors?

Wow only one company makes supporting software for LT1's. That sucks. We LT1 guys get no love man. Can you purchase lt1 edit from anywhere. If so is it really expensive and how hard is it to navigate?
