help! my rpm gauge doesnt work!

make sure you connected the cam sensor back up if you disconnected it (directly in back of intake manifold next to the big tall sensor (oil pressure))
if that's connected, see if a scanner shows the PCM seeing the engine speed, if it (PCM) sees it, then it's a problem w/the serial feed from the PCM to the gauge cluster, but I would check the cam sensor first, I think that it's used to determine RPM

not ontop of the intake manifold... on the back of the intake manifold, you've got 1 plugin for the MAP sensor (attaches to intake manifold) then there's a second attached to a sensor that goes into the block (cam sensor) ... it's next to the oil pressure sensor
ontop of the intake manifold (towards middle) you've got the EVAP, and I believe AIR is one of them... but there's no AIR in back of the intake manifold
you *may* be able to reach in back carefully and feel if the sensor is hooked up... but since it only takes 30 mins or so to pull the intake manifold off, prolly easier to just do that and make sure it's hooked up
Or hookup a scanner and see if hte PCM sees RPM
