help! my rpm gauge doesnt work!
if that's connected, see if a scanner shows the PCM seeing the engine speed, if it (PCM) sees it, then it's a problem w/the serial feed from the PCM to the gauge cluster, but I would check the cam sensor first, I think that it's used to determine RPM
ontop of the intake manifold (towards middle) you've got the EVAP, and I believe AIR is one of them... but there's no AIR in back of the intake manifold
you *may* be able to reach in back carefully and feel if the sensor is hooked up... but since it only takes 30 mins or so to pull the intake manifold off, prolly easier to just do that and make sure it's hooked up
Or hookup a scanner and see if hte PCM sees RPM
