i have heard that the sensor on the back of the front brake rotors can go bad. i say chek the wiries and make sure they didnt get cut or damaged. there is one on the differential but i think that one will only make the abs inop go on. hope it helps

I've also seen it be the result of loose grounds - particularly the one on the back of the left cylinder head.

sounds like dirty rings or magnets or a ground problem.

Is there a way to tune these out (ABS) other than the tape mod or clipping wires?

Could a gear and not having the speedo adjusting, or running a slick maybe cause it? my traction control light doesn't come on, but abs inop, and brake light come on while crusing at highway speeds for a while. It never did this before, but i just did a 4.10 gear, and mt et streets.

If the car is going slower like 45 and under, it never comes on. Thanks, Chris

Check that one, and the ones on the driver's side shock tower.

Check the grounds. There are grounds in plain view on each side of car. Not the ones attached to the engine.
