baterry gauge not reading properly???

Default baterry gauge not reading properly???
has this happened to anyone where the battery gauge is not working right? when the car is on its in the red part it doesnt even come near the middle or past that...anyone have any ideas?

What year? Could very well be a bad battery or alternator or associated wiring.

it was the battery it died out on me today!! changed it and way better results

just remember.. next time you see your fuel gauge on E... the gauge is prolly right!
