LOL, I saw that they are having a class out in CA, there is no way I can get to that. Plus that seems to be a more advanced type class.....I would be interested in doing the begining and then the advanced...I mean I know some of what to do but I am not confident on tuning someone elses car.

if you read enough books and stuff you can gain a great understanding of the PCm and tuning in general.

Start in the tuning sticky here in this forum, it has a lot of info to get you started. I learned solely by reading and then by actually doing it and seeing the changes and how the car responded.

Now I am tuning the new cam and its like learning the basics again, tuning a cam is a lot harder then tuning a stock cam car.

Just checked out HPTuners website!!! Very very nice site, I am going to be getting ahold of them within the week to enquire about their products....

Does anyone know how much it cost to get an unlimited credit for LS1's? I saw a pic that had unlimited 70 GM credits but it had no price?

My b/f just got done putting his entire car back together.....and it has a ton of mods....it had a procharger on it but he took that off and is now going with an entirely new set-up. So we are both trying to learn how to tune it. He is trying to get into tuning and open his own shop some time next year hopefully.

Nothing in life is free. At the very least you will have to devote a lot of time to the subject but unless you were/are that really pastey/brainy kid in class you will not be able to put these complex ideas to work without practicle experience-read, actually getting your hands on experience= Car with mods, software, desire for it to run smooth and go fast. Fortuneatly both major software suites today offer real time tuning solutions which are the light speed learning tools. One of them has a feedback loop that can correct the tables it'self. Hmmmn
