Default IAC Stuck at 300 - 02 C5

I've been having some issues with the car idling poorly, particularly in cold weather and cold starts. When I lift throttle the car dies at times.

A friend and I looked at my tune and the desired IAC was 140+ at idle and the actual IAC was stuck at 300 during idle and driving.

Any Ideas?

C5's don't have an iac...they are ETC if im not mistaken. Meaning the TB opens a certain % to keep the idle steady.

A few details would be helpful. What's done to the car? M6/Auto? Who tuned it? What did they use? Did you log the idle trims to see what they were wanting? Was the throttle body ever drilled?

M6, tuned by me through HPTuners. Ran VERY well for some time and then suddenly started having issues. Replaced both O2's, still had issues. Compression 215 across all 8. Milled AFR 205's with 224/228. TB never drilled.

these should help explain a little better on how the vette ETC works & how to tune it.

Plus, there are many, many threads here and HPT's forum regarding idle, running airflow (RAF), idle spark, etc.

Also, you will want to scan/read on Throttle Cracker and Throttle Follower settings which affect transition into idle with respect to the car in motion and with respect to throttle position.
