If i buy a Roadrunner PCM and install it will my tuning shops EFI Live be able to connect right to it or will I have to buy the license that is mentioned in the product description for the roadrunner? I would just buy the roadrunner if I dont have to buy a license to go with it, which is like another $200.
I really want a realtime tuner but i dont feel like dishing out 1400+ on both the software and the PCM, if I can just get away with using the roadrunner and my shope EFI Live that would be great.

I think you need a license either way, since it is seperate than a vehicle license (what the workshops have unlimited of)
You can contact craig to be sure, but I had to purchase a license for both my 98 and 99-02 Roadrunners. (I just have commercial versions of V1/V2, no workshop license)

Im sure you need to license the RR separately. You can run it off as many laptops etc as you like. The license code binds itself to the RR by serial/ID etc.
Its a one off cost though as you can transfer it into any vehicles you tune then reflash the old skool OEM PCM and move onto the next one.
If you have a tune tool, or use of one then you only need the RoadRunner and License.
So more like $649 or whatever it is. (Unless you are costing efilive tune tool in...?)
