WOT problem
The Tachometer is still acting up and not showing the correct RPM but the 1800 RPM wall it would hit has been moved to 6400~6500 RPM like it should be.
The car is a 1998 Camaro Z28 LS1 A4 3.42 rear. Line pressure has been bumped up a notch on the 4L60E, Installed 226/226 .585/.585 112lsa cam, LS6 intake, Longtubes, ORY, SLP lid. Before the cam install but with the other mentioned mods if you put the pedal to the floor it would go WOT and scream through the gears. After the cam install it is a little funny acting. Sometimes if you put it in overdrive and put the pedal to the floor it acts like it should and goes WOT from 1st to 2nd to 3rd no problems hauling ***! Other times if you put it to the floor it creeps, rpms never go above 1800 and it shifts from 1st to 2nd to 3rd before your going 50 mph and never goes over 1800 rpms. ???? Anyone ever seen that?
BTW the car keeps 6-7 codes (no tuning done yet) EGR, AIR, Rear O2 sensors and a random misfire code. EDIT: CODES ARE GONE SINCE DYNO TUNE

Got the TUNE and it is still acting up
Car has Been dyno tuned and runs great EXCEPT Sometimes when you stomp it to the floor.
Newest problem as of yesterday:
Right after the tune it ran awesome. Car shifted at 6500 RPM like it was supposed to. It has just started short shifting at 4600 rpm under WOT instead of the 6500 setting. And it will hit the rev limiter in the 5000 range if for some reason it makes it there(happened once) every other time it is shifting at 4600-4800rpm but found 5500 once last night and bounced around like it was hitting the rev limiter (which is set at 6600 RPM) WTF???
Oldest problem:
About two weeks after I put the cam in the car before it was tuned the car started acting up. When it wanted to it would do great, put it to the floor and bam hauls *** like it should; but every now and then it would not - you could go WOT and it would hit 1800 RPM and not go any higher and quickly shift through all of the gears.
The Older problem is intermittent, the other just started yesterday and from what I have seen happens everytime I go WOT and the older problem listed hasnt cropped back up yet since the new one yesterday - time will tell. I will be hooking it up on EFI live again this weekend to see what if anything shows up.
Nothing showed up on EFI live before with the other problem. Everything seemed normal. I have changed the TPS sensor and put a new MAF on it. Neither one helped at all.

Outside of the normal midfore table adjustment, there is an internal test that needs to be disabled. In HPTuners, it is under Engine Diag>General. There are 2 boxes that say P0121 Error Max Map and P0121 Error Min Map. By default these values are 65 and 55 respectively. Ask your tuner to set the min to 0 and the max to 100 to disable this test, and unless you have internal tranny problems, should "disable" this problem as well.

Best of luck.

Best I can tell this fixed the 1800 rpm barrier I was hitting. I still have tach problems though.
Thanks,
Stephen
