Default How do you properly reset PCM?

so my ses light went off the other day and my car started to spit, sputter and backfire. I checked the codes with my DS and it was the following: P0101 maf sensor, P0131 P0154 and P0155 all O2's, P0300 Random/multi misfire. Well i cleaned the maf and put some dielectric grease in the plug wires and restored the factory tune, it seemed to run fine for about 20 miles and then it started again, and the ses light went off again. When i ran it on the DS i got another O2 code saying low voltage, Has anyone had this happen do i need to replace the O2 or just clean it? And is there a right way to reset the codes/PCM?

Are you still running the factory battery?

O2's generally need to be replaced when they go bad...can't really clean them. But since you're getting voltage performance related codes, I wonder about the juice in your electrical system.

Obviously, everything electrical should be checked, but a post maf vacuum leak could also be a possibility. I would guess the 02 codes and misfire codes are a symptom, not the ailment.

The right way to reset the codes / PCM is with a scan tool. However, disconnecting the battery for about 30 seconds should clear the codes as well. HOWEVER, make SURE the ignition switch is OFF if you disconnect the battery.

This will reset the PCM:

1. Turn key to the "on" position but don't start car
2. Pull the PCM BAT and PCM IGN fuses in engine compartment
3. Wait approximately 5 minutes
4. Turn ignition off
5. Replace fuses
