Default Off Idle Hesitation...

Car is a 98 Z28/6 spd with X4 cam and is tuned with HP tuners.

My only issue is that it has a very noticable off idle hesitation. If you kinda just tap the throttle to rev it up and what not, it hesitates.

Where, "in HP tuners" would i begin to look to address this issue?

Any help would be appreciated!

It might be a timing issue. I've noticed on my cam and my friends' cams that they don't like as much timing down low (below 1800 RPM) in the .28~.60 grams/cyl range. Other than that, get the fueling lined up and you should be good.

have a look at your base timing in gear values. I run 20 degrees in mine now as opposes to the 14 it had previously. It has sharpened up off idle response significantly

I have been working on my VE table and idle to get it leaned out. Now that the idle is at 14.7, it is hard to take off from a stop sign. I tried adding some VE to the 1600 row, that helped. I'm going to try the 20 degrees that macca sugggested.

I would start with timing. My timing off idle goes well into the 20's and by 1400rpm or so it gets into the 30's. I'd try that first.

Also, are you in closed loop or open loop? With a cam like that you may be fooling the oxygen sensors in closed loop with all that overlap.
