Well, i was throwing a check engine light for my map sensor and cam sensor, and both of them were low voltage. I fought out why they weren't getting power and fixed that, and the check engine light came off. I started it up and theres no check engine light and nothing shows up on hp tuners. Than the next day i start it up and the cam sensor (low voltage) shows up on hp tuners!!!..... But my check engine light isnt on! Is this just a fualty code that hp tuners is showing? Because i fixed it and cleared it. Before, it had the check engine light on and was throwing the code but now the check engine light is off but only on hp tuners this code shows up???? Can anyone chime in

Nothing is wrong with your HPtuner software. It doesn't create false codes. It simply reads what the PCM has stored in it's memory. In this case the code is pending because it will take 2 full drive cycles with the problem present (cam signal is stuck low when the signal should be high for 5 seconds) to trip a hard code and illuminate the MIL lamp. If you indeed fixed the problem and cleared the MIL, it would not come back on. Clearing the code does not fix the problem. Another possiblity is some people turn off the DTC MIL enabler, but leave the DTC Processing Enabler on. In this case the PCM will still read and report the DTC, but the MIL lamp will not be set. Hope this helps.
