Any pics of a clean lc1 controller install The search isn't working for me and I'm getting annoyed trying to google it. I have my tranny out for a clutch replacement and I figure I might as well install my wideband. I'm ising my egr as a 5 volt input so I dont have the enhaced eio. I'm just wondering if peopple are putting the controller on the inside of the console or mounting on the tranny somehow. I'm not sure the Wb sensor itself will be long enough if I use my wb as a narrow band also. Btw I'm running pacesetter longtubes and putting the sensor in the normal place on the passenger side header.
I mounted my controller inside the console. I had to extend the cable and add a connector to it. I called inovative when I first got my LC-1 to see if they had a extension harness. They told me the controller was designed to be mounted undernieth the car. With all the reliablity issues other people are having I felt in-cab was the best place for the cotroller. I've had mine for about 9 months now.
I zip tied mine to the subframe connector on the passenger side. Some have ran the wires through the shifter boot and mounted it under the console inside. Here's a few links for some ideas:
