understanding the maf and turbo?
Im a bit confused!
Ok first I started out with 1200hz and set that value at 511.99 and scaled down from there. It kept the 511.99 value down to 11200hz and went down from there. Not sure where I read to do this but I found it somewhere.
Ok from this I would max my MAF out at 512g or 67lb/m which I have read doesnt happen very often.
From this my g/cyl. would get to 130-140.. The a/f was about 10.3-10.4 and it felt sluggish..
Ok so then I change the MAF to what the monero has since it goes all the way up to 511.99.. But the different is that at 11200 which is the point I was seeing 511.99 on the other tune Im now see 430.00. This caused me to get leaner 11.8-12.0.
But the g/cyl. were only 100-110 this time. It did feel stronger tho... Shoundnt it be seeing more g/cyl than before being leaner?
Ok I think I just seen whats going on... What determines g/cyl.? is it the Maf? And I assume that the Maf gives out not at 430g but 11200 hz.. and thats why it would climb past 430 for me with one tune and it would with the other..
