Slight hesitation at low rpm.
So since I put my headers on I've noticed that between 1000 and 1500 in 5th and in 6th when its like bogging at 50 mph it will hesitate and it feels like a quick missfire but then once the rpm climbs above 1400 or 1500 it dosent do this. I do alot of highway driving and thats were im noticing it like when traffic slows down and I floor it in 5th or 6th. I ran through the gears today to see if it would do it and I didnt notice anything but when I cam off a corner about 1800 rpm it in 2nd gear it did it real quick. It usually "pops" once and thats it. I cant figure it out. I did new plugs and wires and gapped the plugs at 60. I pushed all the wires to make sure there tight as well. Can this have something to do with my mass air flow ends? Would a full dyno tune fix this and be worth the money. I have an appointment on the 14th at speed inc. for a basic tune but i've been thinking if it will fix it then I will do the full tune. Thanks guys.

i have the same issue as you do. exactly the same pop and all. i have larger mass air ends and also just did headers. please respond to this forum if the tuning fixes it. i have tried mannnnnnnny things and no luck so far. It definatly not my plugs and wires.
the only thing i have yet to try is putting the stock mass air ends back on... that didnt occur to me untill you suggested it.
