We are in over our heads. We finally have the LS1 starting and it seems to idle okey. We bought a scanner to check values, and now know that we don't know a good value from a bad value. THe Maf started around 2 in and is now around 1. We get a code on the map and the map. We also have a code because the computer doesn't like that the TPS is reading 0% at idle. Once the computer played a bit, it settled the idle around 800rpm. At 9.6% on the TPS reading, we are at 1900rpm, and a bit rough. It really bogs down off idle and when you close the throttle it drops to 500rpm. P0101, 0106 and 0121 are the codes os far. It is idling better than before, and all 8 plugs are firing now. We cannot find any more vacuum leaks. We are using the S&P maff adapter, I will try and figure out how to seal it better. Overall, things are getting better, and the scanner is definately helping us figure things out, but we don't know what the right values are. Thanks for any help or suggestions!

Here are the values on the sensor now that we fixed the throttle body position. Someone in the past bent the throttle stop.
FuelSys1 CL
FuelSys2 CL
Calc load 3.1%
ECT 195* F
IAT 105* F
MAP 26.5 in/hg
rpm 794-812
speed 0 mph
spark adv. 10-14*
MAF 1.133 lb/hr
TPS 0%
02 B1 .85
02 B2 .90
STFT B1 -39%
STFT B2 -39%
LTFT B1 -15.6%
LTFT B2 -15.6%
That is everything our little scanner is saying. It is a cheap (<$280) one from Kragen.
We still have a persistent P0101, and sometimes we get P0106. We had P0121, but hope we just fixed that issue.
P0121 is back. We have learned how to record data and display on the computer. The barometric pressure reads 0, but the intake manifold absolute pressure reads 26.7 in/hg. What measures the barometric, and could this be our problem. We are thinking that as soon as P0101 lights off, the computer goes into SD mode and the tables for that are not correct. Any help out there?????
