Default Re: A TC, A HPP3, Torque management , and a BIG ?????

I think the diablo is not a bad way to go either. It is $419 a bit cheaper than LS1edit and it is very simple to tune. I also like the idea of having a code reader.

Can LS1edit code read?

If you plan to go all out and crazy with your truck/car then LS1edit would probably be the way to go. Eventually I plan to supercharge my truck but I still could see the Predator coming in handy, especially when considering the predators custom program/tune abilities. You can send in all of your modification/setup info, maybe even engine environment/diagnostic info and the Diablo people will send you a custom tune to install on your diablo.

Anyway just my 3 cents.

99PTA, We can delete TQ management that is included in our price for basic tuning. Our price for basic tuning is $125.

We can delete the EGR, Air pump, rear O2's, raise the rev limiter, reprogram the fans for a lower temp t-stat, and change shift points and get rid of Tq Management.

Just looked at your sig. If you send us your PCM for basic tuning you can sell your Hypertech unit to offset the cost.

Just a heads up here, if you are not a sponsor on this board I would recommend not trying to sell stuff to the members of this board...your post may be edited. People pay the admins of this board to put there name on the right side. Do not deal with anyone on here that is not a sponsor

Lynda, If you would look at the banner list to the right you will see that C&S Performance IS a sponsor of this board.

Hey Cain,

Richie IS A SPONSOR. C&S Tuning. Link on the right. ------>

And even though PCMForLess.com is not a sponsor, I have done a lot of business with them and they are highly reputable.

Just FYI.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but torque management shouldn't come on at WOT. It's only used to smooth out shifts under normal driving. Take a few autotap runs and find out for sure...I'm just to lazy to do it...plus I disabled TM.
OK, you're wrong!
TM is most noticeable during/just after the shift w/an A4.
As I was trying to say before, it will show up as a hesitation at that time. I've recorded pulled timing/pulled fuel when TM is at it's worst. It can be awfully hard to catch on Autotap, took me many, many runs to balance my shift points, rev limiter, etc to get optimum results.
But, like I said, I had no access to, and there existed no LS1 Edit. No doubt the bulk of MY problems have been due to limited traction (street radials & ST3500 are a hard combo to optimize)
