Default Help: 2k idle and hesitation

Wierd problem just started.
I know I have thrown a code for a bad Oxy sensor but it never gave me a prob till now.

Car wants to idle at 2k any time there is forward momentum.
After making a "complete" stop, at a light for example, it will wind down to 1k. But while moving, any time I hit the clutch it jumps to 2k. If I am moving forward, in or out of gear, it wants to hang at 2k. Even a high gear, will pull its way to 2k, making me hit the brake sometimes to slow her down to the speed limit!!

There is also a slight hesitation at low light throttle at low RPM.

Very annoying!!!

Anyone?

Oxy?
Bad gas?
Plugs (is there an easy one to pull and verify?)
Tune went nuts?

What gives?

Did you change anything and have you checked for vacuum leaks?

if your o2's are bad it more than likely is dumping a lot more gas into one side of the motor or both depending on which o2 sensor is bad, what happens is the computer sees that the sensor is reading lean and it is causing the injectors to dump more fuel into bank one or bank two, to try to get the a/f back in line, this will more than likely cause a ruff idle, surging, and possibly a hanging idle. change out your bad o2 as this is a major key in a good running tune.

Damn, guess I need to go to a shop for that?
What can read that without getting nailed by a tuner?

I cleaned the TPS Sensor
and IAC sensor (this was pretty dirty)

If I nail it, no problem.
But if I want to coast to a red light, nope, 2k if I'm rollin

Thanx frost!!!

What brand of throttle body do you have? Have you checked that it's closing all the way when you let off the throttle?

Its a Nick William.
I havnt checked that, but wouldnt it stay at 2k even if I stop?
Even if I am not on the throttle, if I tap the clutch, it jumps right up.

Whatever is off whack seems to know when I am at rest and in motion.

No, at a dead stop your adaptive idle routines take over... the IAC can be run fully shut by the PCM and it can retard spark to pull rpms down as well... these routines are out of the window when the car is moving.

I still say vacuum leak; it's not an uncommon problem.

aghhhhhhh
Any idea where to start looking or what to look for?
car sounds like it is sucking in all kinds of air.
I thought it was the H/C but it sure ingests alot of air.

Any specific hose to check or how to?

like any vacuum leak.... get it idling and spray around with carb cleanrer; listen for the idle to change and you've found [a] leak.
