High Idle in gear?
But, for the sake of argument, please tell me ANY other way in which a car can idle abnormally high. I mean, you're posting in Advanced Tech, you must know something.
LS1NUT26,
It only idles high when in Park/Neutral for a couple seconds....correct?
I left your piece of **** snippy comments out of it....I am trying to help him diagnose WHERE the vacuum leak is....I'm trying to help him find the leak, stop showing off...you're not impressing anyone by trying to act like you know more than someone....it's really pathetic....
you saying "vacuum leak", and not giving him any specifics, is kind of like **** on a bull......or a fiero with a turbo
Not sure yet, cause I wont have access to another sensor till later tonight, but I think that is what it my be. Thanks LS1BADZ your a genius!!!!!!!!
You must have an actual LS1 car at one point to even know about them unlike someone I know ie...
fieroz34
But while I'm at it I will also check that to. thanks King...
Boy it is finally nice to have people helping with locations to look instead of someone just saying "Oh it's a vac leak"
Oh, and who the f*ck said I don't have an LS1?
My 2002 SuperSport, SLP Limited Edition 2876:

I just use the Fiero in my sig because I'm proud of it. Anyone can make the payments on a $20k Camaro, but building your own equal length headers, one-off turbo kit, and a complete engine swap is something very few people can do.

Dude, grow the **** up, this isn't multimedia forum!
Nick is trying to fix his idle.....bullshit like your posts get topics locked....you need to not throw your .02 in next time!!!
Have you even read my initial post?
And other thing don't even start getting snippy with me, Just remember I was out seeking help and you brought yourself into this, and started saying stuff like "How is this supposed to be Advanced Tech" and continually saying that IT'S A VACUUM LEAK!!!!! and stupid crap like that.I can't tell you how sick of this kind of crap I'm. I see alot of people doggin on others and it is really pathetic. So don't even post on any of mine anymore cause your advice obviously and worth it.

Anyhow, back to your problem. Like you've been told, you have a vacuum leak. I don't care if you sprayed for one. That's your problem. From there, we can't really help you. Try replacing your IAC sensor since you can't your IAC passage while driving down the road. Other than that, you just have to track it down.
