Default Electronic Throttle Control (ETC) ????

Need help. Working on a customers project car which he did on his own but now is running into problems. In his project he used a C5 LS1 with the harness and pcm. Then he wanted to change to the cable throttle body. So he replaced the harness and pcm and is now using an f-body harness and pcm. Unknown what happened to the original harness and pcm. Now he wants to switch back to the original ETC. Can we still use the f-body harness and pcm or do we have to buy a corvette harness and pcm? Can we keep the f-body harness, use a corvette pcm and add a wire for the ETC? If so, does anyone know the pin# on the corvette pcm?

Reason for asking is that we dont really want to purchase a helms vette manual due to the fact that most of our customers or f-body and mustang customers. We tried dealers but no luck and here in Hawaii, we havent found anyone who specializes in corvette pcms.

Can anyone help?

Thanks,

Dan

ETC, (drive by wire) is far more complex then just adding some wire.
There is another module (TAC) which controls ETC and it also ties into other functions
of the Corvette and is also connected to the CAN network to the BCM.
C5 does not have IAC since TAC controls idle by adjusting TB whereas an F-body
uses a IAC motor.
C5 has gas pedal using electronics where F-body is a simple cable.

So it is much more involved in time and costs of the other modules required.

Thank you for the info. I guess we need to change the harness and pcm.
