which after market EMS
i've decided i cant race on little tires and be able to compete with the capabilities of the stock pcm...
between the FAST, BS3, and AEM what EMS do you guys like the best... so far im deciding its BS3 or FAST but im leaning towards BS3.... more than likely this will be a winter project so im not down during the season but i need to make my mind up now and get it ordered ASAP so that i miss the late fall rush for parts...

Main reason I'm using a BS3 is because PSJ is
But seeing it was designed around and LS1 and its all in box, AEM doesnt have a low-Z driver, DFI has a seperate coil driver box, not sure on the new XFI, I went with the BS3.
Software is a bit clunky but its simple and does what its supposed to do, ever since I put it in the car I havent had one bit of trouble out of it.

Representing for the FAST XFI/XIM crowd here. Require 2 boxes. XFI box for the engine and the XIM for the ignition. Its come along way from the old days of FAST.
Cant go wrong with BS3 though. Its proven.
AEM is awesome. Used your Factory wiring harness and keep all the factory gauges. Dwownside is it is as expensive as the rest and you have to have a injector driver. It will be goiong on my next street car though.

Im with Boostaholic, PSJ and KP on the BS3 being a good system...No other brand can match its bang for the buck (unless you go DIY like the mega squirt) which is why Im going that route as well. The XFI is a good system as well if you dont mind adding a few more dollars, its also a very "professional" looking setup too.

Last time I talked to the guys a AEM they told me I would have to have a injector driver box to run my 83lb Low impedence injectors. That their unit would only run High impedence style injectors. The was less than two and a half months ago. If AEM is a all in one plug and play that will run the Low impedence style injectors then I would very seriously conside selling my FAST setup to buy it. I used AEM on every one of the Mustangs I have built over the years and loved it.
