I took off my procharger and I'm trying to get my cam tuned out. I started with a 98 base tune and have played with everything and cant get the idle right.
When its cold it fires right up and idles fine, but after it warms up a bit the idle will dip to 300 then rev back up to 1800 then settle on 1k. It stays at 1k for a bit then it seems to build up vacum and choke itself. Vacuum will be at 40 after it revs and slowly build up to 90+ at which point the engine chokes up until it revs again or just dies.
Cam is a 221/221 575 112
I've been trawling searches here and on the EFI forums for a couple of days and gotten nowhere =/

With the symptoms you describe I would be looking for a vacuum leak(Hunting idle with MAP building and falling). Just to review, the tune was fine with the procharger, you took it off and put in a cam and now it won't idle? And this is on a 98?
Just to add, you might want to consider upgrading that pcm with your setup.
We just got a 97 vette to idle and drive like butter with MS3, PRC 5.3 heads and LS6 intake. That is until you lay into it.
Get that cam purrfect and slap the procharger back on with COS#5.
