Default backfiring

i have an 02 WS6 6speed. my mods are a loudmouth exhaust, lid, slp timing tricker. the thing backfires A LOT. it will give one real loud backfire just about every time i shift, multiple backfires when i just let off the gas and coast. it almost seems like it's getting worse.

any ideas?

Loudmouth will pop a lot during deceleration and between shifts. I would not call it backfiring though... Backfiring sounds like a shotgun going off...

This is just another wonderful attribute of SLP's loudmouth, enjoy!

yeah my friends 02 z28 does it too. are you throwing codes?? his did it when he got his headders/y pipe installed and he threw a misfire code. it really was backfiring, he replaced the plug and pops quite a bit now but no backfires

it's real backfiring. sometimes it's just rumbling or popping, but quite often now it backfires, real loud. and it happens the worst when i'm upshifting. i've had the loudmouth on there for a while. it didn't used to be like this. no codes.

once again, loudmouth pops alot, its normal. If people behind the car drop and take cover when it happens, its a backfire, otherwise, its just normal popping
