Need .ls1 file for 234/238

As a start, you need to take quite a bit of fuel out of the VE table at idle. It should idle fine if you bump up the base spark timing a couple of degrees (23~24* is what mine idles at) and increase the desired idle speed to 850~900rpm once up to temp. You'll also need to dial in the desired idle airflow (base running airflow) so that it's getting enough air to supply a 900rpm idle. Check the stickies at the top of the forum for the RAFIG process. That'll get you going in the right direction...

I'm assuming you're using LS1 Edit, which will make it hard to see. If you can read an EFI Live file....sure. Mine saves as a *.tun file. I can't save it as a *.bin or a *.ls1 file though. Just PM me your email addy and I'll send it your way.

It shouldn't.... just a change to the 400-800-1200 columns to get things started.

I said idle CORRECTLY.... as in, slow driving speed, red lights, a/c on, power steering pump drag... etc etc... I dont think drivability is taken into enough consideration when choosing cams. I have a relatively small cam (for an LS1) but in my 5.3 it took a lot more work to get the same idle quality. Those are just my opinions and experiences though... it just doesnt take a ton of duration in these motors to make nice gains.

Like SSpdDmon says, if you can find a copy of efilive to use/borrow, he or i can send you a starter file to get it going.
All 97-98 ls1s are tuned for free and do not take up a slot on efilive cables.

The stickies here are a good place to start. They can give you a general idea of what we believe to be true about the way the tables relate to one another in the PCM. That's the key to understanding how to tune...understanding what the tables do and how they interact.
If you wanted immediate results, you should have paid someone to tune it instead of trying to do it yourself.
