Default airbag light on after ecm swap

I had vengeance send me a new ecm with my tune modified slightly and the airbag and che engine light came on when the car was started, its an 02 z28. the check engine was a crank sensor relearn code which i got that part taken care of, now what about the airbag light? why would it come on from a simple ecm swap?

ok i figured out the airbag thing. its a code B1001 option configuration error. i guess that means the computer was not configured for air bags. now does anybody know how that is fixed?

They might not have sent you the right tune. Have somebody scan it locally. If there are no tuners in your area you could take it to the dealer and have them read it with a Tech2.

Somethings strange on this one since your car has a seperate module or brain for the airbags.Your ecm shouldn't have any effect on this light.Traver

Ditto.... They are seperate systems that do not interact at all. Probably just a freak thing. The air bag light came on in my wifes Volvo when I changed out the climate control circut board.
