Switching MAF's question? Last night i made and "oops" and managed to get a lean nitrous backfire through my intake. Everything came out alright besides the MAF amazingly. My question is, my car was tuned on a stock MAF and I have a SLP MAF thats laying around. Can i switch my stock out for the SLP and be fine or is there something I need to tune around or just fork up the money and buy another stock MAF?
It may run a little differently AFR wise, but it should be close with the SLP MAF. At least, find someone with a WBO2 and a scanner to get a good look at what the car is doing driving down the street. The results will tell you whether you need a tune or not.
